5-5 between Walden and Mcculloch now. Its going to be close.

I've decided I'm going to drive up tomorrow if Walden wins as its only an hours drive from Manchester.

Not sure if I'll go if Mcculloch wins. There seems to have been loads of O'sullivan Mcculloch matches. I think it was during the last one that Ronnie was doing one of his his hiding under the towel acts. It wont be worth the effort going if thats how Ronnie feels about playing Mcculloch.

Think that was King match. Should be good game whoever Ronnie plays.

He has also definately done this against Mcculoch. I think that was the first time he did it, I Cant remember which tournie it was, but i do remember how cool Mcculloch was in handling it.

Your maybe right, McCulloch is a very cool customer, on his game, he can beat anyone.

I just wish he would'nt slow down so much when the going gets tough, puts himself under more pressure. Sometimes seems to be in 2 minds, and thinks a little negatively.

Anyway, I'm hoping he gets through to set up a match with Ronnie, and hope it goes 8-8. Be very interesting

Ticketmaster appear to be a waste of time. At least for this early stage of the tournament, as they have no tickets for todays matches anyway.

I then contacted York Barbican direct for tickets on 020 7638 8891 with no problems.

I wanted tickets for the 2003 British Open final at Brighton, and Ticketmaster told me there were quite a lot of tickets left and I could get them from the box office the next morning.

So I drove the 85 miles to Brighton for 10:00 the next day (actually I didn't – I got a friend in Brighton to go for me, but they weren't to know that) and, you've guessed it, they'd sold out.

I wrote a letter of complaint to Brighton Centre and they were prompt in replying that they had passed my letter on to Ticketmaster for a full response.

That was 18 August 2003 and as yet I still await their reply.

shocking treatment, but not a surprise given some other horror stories regarding them.

ok, they cant be perfect all the time, but in that case, why predict someone will be ok to buy later when theyre obviously not 100% sure?
