Ding - Not sure about him, if he can pass Day, I think he got a chance to get to final, but not sure how these time difference affect him.

Higgins - Should get to semi/final

Ken - Seem out of form in Premier League

Hendry - probably meet Williams in last 16 and Ronnie in quarter, not really big chance for him

Williams - Either loose to Hendry or Ronnie, and not sure if his wrist is ok

Davis - If he pass Murphy/McManus then he might go bit further

Neil - Probably loose in the quarter, Again! I think 2 title in a row is bit much for him.

Ronnie - Faces tough players from the start, which let his form build up and finally win the event.

Have you all forgot that, for a change, the great John Parrott is in there? Come on JP!!!

Ding - Its either him or Stevens in the finals.

Higgins - Should get to semi's.

                Ken - Quarters or higher!

Hendry - Completely out of form! Though has a chance againt Williams if he plays exteremly well.

Williams - Will probably lose to Ronnie......but I say Ronnie could lose to....One match to look out for if they meet!

Davis - I dont see him going ahead......But wish he does!

Neil - Will play Ronnie....May lose there.

Ronnie - Semis maybe the finals!

It would be good if he beat Selby but I cant really see it happening. must've played good to qualify though, 8-5 down!

I see Ronnie and Higgo in the final , i would name Ding out of the players in the first half of the draws to get to the final , but i am afraid he'll be a bit tired after the Asian games ,and will be lot of pressure on him considering he's the defending champion.
As for Rocket he has some tough matches ahead , i would love to see him playing Williams in the qurters , those two are always great to watch when playing against eachother , tho a Ronnie-Hendo match wouldn't be bad either.
I can't see Neil getting any further that the quarters ( he must be still up there in cloud 9 after winning NIT) , maybe not even there if he gets to play Dottie - i see Graeme eager to have a better performance than the one he had at the GP so he will give Neil a hard time there.

Watch your steps carefully when your going down in the Tube in january. Dont go close to the edge on the platforms.

Uk winner anybodies guess! Higgins top fav to reach the semi in his half of the draw. Other one Robertson and I think Ronnie will have gone before he will meet Robertson. Higgins - Robertson final

Serously though, it's great for the game. All we need now it a few more characters. But I don't think you can get to the top these days without beeing a calm, indifferent figure.

Thanks for giving me a sporting chance, Paul (reagarding the Tube that is...)

OK, without having look at the draw I'd say Ding vs. Doherty in the final.

People seem to forget that Ronnie hasn't won a match here since 2003. Also Higgins has barely won a best of 17+ match for a long time (excluding the two finals he won) I don't think either of them will feature strongly again this time either. I reckon Bingham or Selby could reach a semi final to looking at their draw.

All in all I can't wait!

Personally I think Stuart Bingham is a bit overrated - he's already thirty years old and so far this season he's played crap in the ranking tourneys.
