It won't be over for a long, long time!

When they met at Prestatyn in the final round of the World qualifying in March, kellie-text and I left the match about 10 o'clock, when it was already the only one that had not finished.

We went to the Queen Vic, Pontin's pub, and found a free bar, and several pints later went back and saw the last frame and a half – finishing at quarter to one! The 17th frame featured a magnificent 40-ish clearance by Lawler with 2 reds left – at the time the pink was the only ball anywhere near open play, the other five colours and both reds all close to a cushion.

I remember John Virgo calling Lawler an old battler! (likewise Pinches). Lets hope he makes the final. I am in for a treat!

What was the score in the Hamilton V Lawler match before they came off? Also does anyone know when they will resume?

Hamilton seems to be the new Ebdon or has he always been?

Why is Holt starting his match tomorrow when all of the first round matches bar his finish today. I just don't see the logic of it
