  • Graeme Dott v Scott Mackenzie
    Stephen Hendry v Dave Harold
    Ding Junhui v Ryan Day
    Ken Doherty v Mike Dunn
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman

          • Why is there no play today? Couldn't Doherty and Dotts matches be played today?

            • Because they want the top 4 seeds to be playing in front of the BBC cameras!

              • how many tables there will be - will they play all 4 matches at once? I doubt there will be cameras at all tables in that case...

                • Plus, they need a day to reduce the arena from a five table set up to only two tables. Seats have to moved, the set and television camera's etc etc.

                  5 tables: http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk/seatingchart/254893/11172

It looks like it will be a pretty low-scoring round, with one or two notable exceptions (whom I shall not name for the time being!)

I think I guessed winners correctly in Ronnie, Davis, McManus and Higgins matches. not too many, but still 4 matches to go.
