Higgins and Ebdon are both playing absolutely brilliant snooker. This is really a bit too exciting for me... I had to go upstairs and cool off at the computer for a second ;-)
giving it the old ' come on ' at the end too, what a player, unbelievable bottle and character he has to win matches. If only Ronnie had his attitude, he'd be unbeatable.
Yes, it is all over... Congrats to Ebdon! It was very entertaining, indeed, even the little round of misses. All in all, it was sort of what I had expected from the match yesterday. Must say that little dance was entertaining too.

You have no idea how difficult it was for me to say that...
I've just got back from York...one of the best matches I've ever seen...it was brilliant stuff!
I wanted Higgins to win at the start, but as the match went on I wanted Ebdon to win more and more because he was playing out of his skin. The respotted black frame was amazing drama! That frame, along with the one where Higgins missed an easy red on 49, were the turning points of the match.
And towards the end of the 132 break, he was running around the table like the Maltese Falcon himself!
Now I'd love nothing more than Ebdon to win the whole tournament as he deserves it...and long may he continue to play such fluent snooker (then maybe he can avoid terms like "steadfast" in the introduction, and "gritty" on bbc teletext! )
Anyone knows what Peter Ebdon said to John Higgins while shaking hands? It seemed he was talking for ages. Since the local commentator trashes everything in shouting along, especially after a match is finished, I couldn't understand anything.
