    • 5-3, Ronnie takes the last frame of the session with a nice break. Pity that not a century.

      • Looks we've got a match on our hands between Stephen and Ronnie.

But my money's on Dott at the moment to win the entire tournament. He looks like he's out for vengeance after the Grand Prix and to show he is a true champion.

If he keeps this up the Curse will be broken. Mark my words.

            • dott is playing very well at the moment, better than he played when he won the world championship i think. can't see davis or mcmanus beating him in the quarters really.

                          • Looks like the afternoon session's second matches will be quite short today... Unless some great comeback won't happen which I don't see, because Higgins and Dott played very well yesterday.

Dott looked very good, but he has a bad haircut.
You play a long slow deadweight red to a corner pocket. As it approaches the pocket, a kamikaze woodlouse crawls out from under the cushion and makes its way across the table, conflicting with the path of the red precisely at the point the red gets there. The red, needless to say, veers off course, and the future of the woodlouse is uncertain. - The Statman
