I thought Ronnie's conceding came out of the blue, which made it all the more shocking to me. He hadn't been playing amazing but he's played a lot, lot worse and he was just quietly going about his business before that. John Parrott said that he thought he hadn't looked right around the venue previously so I don't think it was a petulent decision, more a build up of whatever it was that was bothering him. I'm not trying to kiss his bottom but I'm just trying to rationalise it

I bet you would like to!
Suppose this would have happened in the final and I have come all the way over to watch the final. Its in a way disrespect for the fans imo. I have said the same thing in the Dott - Ronnie match at Sheffield where he conceded two frames while there were plenty of points left.

Who knows what's up with Ronnie. Maybe his baby is sick. Maybe his wife has problems. Maybe he has mental issues he can't deal with. I'm not gonna judge him on it, congrats to Stephen for being through to the semis. What else can I say? Poor Ronnie, that's all I can say."I'll be back next year." --Jimmy White
