Anyone knows what Peter Ebdon said to John Higgins while shaking hands? It seemed he was talking for ages. Since the local commentator trashes everything in shouting along, especially after a match is finished, I couldn't understand anything.
Probably something along the lines of "you're one of the best players ever to have played the game" as Higgins looked embarrassed by the comment...
I was on my way upstairs but luckily turned round and saw the brilliant little Ebdon dance!

It must have been a lot more. Possibly
"You're one of the best players ever to have played the game. Well done. Did I actually mention you're one of the best players ever to have played the game? And you did very well. Since you're one of the best players ever to have played the game. Don't mind me dancing a little around within a few seconds after having said this. I'll dance for us both since you're one of the best players ever to have played the game. Well done, John."
I think i missed the dance that everyone 's talking about. Anyone has an youtube link maybe , where i can see it ? Thanks

That was a great match yesterday won by a very smart looking Peter Ebdon. I think he made himself lots of fans yesterday. The little dance and all at the end was just priceless. Put a big smile on my face.
he just bopped about for about 3 or 4 seconds ellena and then he shouted "come on" to the audience as he left.
Oh thanks for the details , i haven't seen it , when i left the room he was shakin hands with Higgo. I would still love a video with it ...

When the match was finishing yesterday, the Greek commentator was talking about Ebdon as a player and also mentioned how he had wildly celebrated a victory over Lee (a couple of years ago I think) and how that had surprised many people as he is a quiet guy on the whole.
I was wondering why Lee had got upset and said he would not play doubles with him again (which is forgotten now of course), since most sportspeople express their enthusiasm after a victory, when Ebdon did his little dance and I laughed with my heart!
I think the dance was prompted by him tripping up over the camera wires, but it was a great little jig!! Edbon completely won me over yesterday although I've always admired his amazing sportsmanship.
He definitely did say "You're the hardest player I've ever had to play" I'm an OK lip reader. Then John kind of stood in his way and Peter said Thankyou.

It was something like a minature version of what Cuba Gooding Junior does in Jerry Maguire when he regains consciousness at the football game. Peter milked the crowd in good style.
Great entertainment on the table from his also yesterday. I'm sure the dip in his pouplarity after his go slow against Ronnie will be completely reversed now.

I have always had the up-most(is that right?) respect for him as a player, despite his tactics against Drago(2003) and O'Sullivan(2005), and I have supported him all the way through this event, and he showed some good personality last night, and in fairness a well earned "Come On!!!", Congratulations Peter Ebdon!
