I dont understand the order of play today

6 matches being played now, will they all conclude at 7pm?

What about the 4 matches being played at 2.30pm?

so 10 matches will be concluded at 7pm?

yes we explained this earlier in the week

the matches are over two sessions

so Batch one start at 10am and conclude at 7pm
Batch 2 start at 2.30 and conclude tomorrow at 2.30

Who's that Preece guy? Know nothing about him other than he's damn easy to beat in World Championship Snooker 2004.

Ian Preece was the youngest ever winner of the World Amateur championship, actually taking Jimmy's record off him. He was 16 at the time
Earlier in the year he'd become the youngest Welsh champion, which earned him place in the World Amateur
he also won the european Under 19 championship

but he struggled when he first turned pro, lost his place, then topped the pios rankings to get it back and has held on to it.

he is a very very good player. I don't know why one poster said he's boring. He's far from boring, a very fluent break builder, but he's got a good safety game too when he needs it.

you must have caught him on a bad day! I have sen hi go into "defence" mode if he thinks he needs to but he prefers a faster open game.

H2H - ther'es no site that has a complet eup to date record
but on the GSC forum we do have a dedicated "anorak" who posts them up before each round in all the pro events and very interesting there are too.

Us journos try and keep them up to date but I've never had the time to translate it all into web pages, but on the new GSC it will be something we look at

The other interesting up to date stats are the very useful CueFacts on www.cuefactor.com

The official ATP tennis site have a very impressive h2h section, i find it amazing that the official world snooker site doesnt have this facility, im guessing it costs to much to make?

sorry - GSC or GCS is short for Global snooker Cente and Global Cue Sports

you'll find the website at www.globalsnookercentre.co.uk

we are live at all the major events, although I'm not at the UK qualifiers because I've done my back in but we will be live in Telford to bring you all the latest scores, results, frame scores, photos etc

and GSC also has a forum. Most people are members on several different forums. they all have something slightly different to offer. GSC seems to concentrate more on facts and figures but that's only because people seem to read a lot and post only a little! we always have more guest on reading than members posting!

when it was 3-1 to delaney at the interval, hang was late to come back and he lost a frame by defualt.
