im watching the maguire match and once again he obviously has a doctors note as he isnt wearing a bow-tie. is this still compulsary or is this more relaxed

I can't imagine he has to get one for every single tournament, I have never seen him playing with a bow tie...

Some good results today. I am glad Mark Williams and Lee won their matches, for different reasons, but what matters is that they made my day..... I hope Higgins and Maguire will win their matches too.

P.S. Too bad for Judd...he made a good comeback to level at 8 all....but King kept his nerve and won it in the end.

Yes, and its only a 900 capacity "venue". Would expect more on a sunday. Although I understand most UK citizens avoid the place!

Its the difference with York. Would it be at York I go for a long weekend, but in Telford just arrive in time for the semi on saturday and run off on the monday morning asap!

Maguire is suffering from a bad "rash", permanently it seems.. When I saw him in Duffel it was clearly visible on his chin and throat. It's no fake and certainly painfull.

Im really happy that Mark Williams has won, its great seeing Mark play well again. Next up I believe he plays Dott. Could be close but Williams is far superior to Dott in all departments, so should come through in the end. I think there is a great chance for Williams to do well in this tournament this week.

However I am very dissapointed seeing Judd lose and also not seeing Liang Wenbo at this tournament at all.
