  • UK Championship virus??!!!

Anyone know what virus is currently roaming about in Telford? 3 players have pulled out up till now, Parrott, Mark Davis and today Ian Mcculloch. Just want to take precautions for next weekend.

JP didnt have a virus - he had kneck problems.

As pundit the other day Steve Davis was suggesting Mark Davis had a stomach upset, dont know what was up with Ian Mac.

At the moment we have a quite vicious flu going on in Dk. I hope it´s not that one, even though Mark Davis symptoms reminds me of it.

It´s a shame for the tournament. Luckily until now it has been players we couldn´t be expecting to see in the final parts of the tournament, but if players like O´Sullivan, Higgins or Maguire (would of cause be matchfixing) withdrew, it would be really bad.

The Swedish commentator mentioned something about food poisoning for both Mark Davis and Ian McCulloch. Not sure where he got his info from though.

Ian Mcculloch retired because his neck "went" he had physio from michael Holt's girlfriend who is a trained physio and from another medic but they couldn't ease it enough for him to be able to play and he's absolutely gutted.

Mark Davis went down with a 24 hours tummy bug that seems to be afflicting several people this week.

the rest have all got colds, flu or - even worse MAN FLU!!!!! (Glad I can't catch that!!)

Mark Selby was suffering all through his match and a Vick inhaler was a vital part of his kit this week.

            IT'S THE BEER.

16 or so miles from the best brewery in the country and all they can serve is boddingtons rubbish or foreign bloody stella at £3.20 a pint.

Indeed! If they go for Belgian beer they have a choice of far better things than Stella! Must be the worst we brew ...
Now I'm not sure how anyone would play after a couple of "Chimay" (the blue cap one) or "Maredsous" ...

It should be easy with 40 or so balls on the table, I guess there should always be one or two in front of the twelwe holes in the two tables

How many german beers are above 9%? This is very strong water indeed!
