It's going to be 8-4 to Marco. He's doing well and on a break of 74 at the moment.

    EDIT: Ignore above post.

Joe Perry makes it 5-5. Good solid performance in the first two frames.

Totally agree with everything you say Davis had his chance to beat Ding, which tells you something about Ding's form.... It is odd though that his manages to get a 147 and nothing more. I haven't watched the match though.

ad audiences: they weren't great in any match I have seen so far (I guess there were a lot of peole at the O'Sullivan matches though), really diappointing. Maybe it being in Telford is the problem? Nothing else to do there and not enough locals (not that I have ever been there )

Well if it was held at the Guild Hall Preston like it use to you could be sure the seats would be filled to the brim! None the less it is sad to see so few spectators

Interestingly, the tickets have been unreserved seating, meaning that once in the arena you could choose any match if there's a seat.

Perhaps all the folk gravitated towards a single match and the least popular would look far emptier than either table if the vacant seats were dotted around the place.

If a non-tv match was more interesting than one of the tv tables, you will never know without being there!

But even so, as you say the attendances do seem to have been poor.

It seems that some of these other pro-players are starting to find ways of taking Ronnie on...... at his own game!!!!

Firstly, after 6 frames of negative play Rory came out and dazzled with a 'Ronnie like' 3 frames.... Now Joe is attacking every frame with frame winning breaks....

ronnie at it again.. That is a very poor show and before anyone starts defending him and saying about his mental state, to be honest he looked in the mood for it earlier in the match, but Perry has played well and ronnie has just thrown his toys out. Of course, the WSA won't do a thing - and perhaps they shouldn't but lets not forget that people have had bans for not trying their best!!

Lets just hope he doesn't concede the match prematurely again!

Absolutely spot on but I'm sure certain fans will be quick to blame his mental illness but I think that excuse is wearing very thin now. Its obvious to anyone that he's a spoilt brat who is only ever happy when things are going his way. Whenever anyone starts playing well against him he just can't take it but when the shoe is on the other foot he's happy to dish it out.

He needs to seriously grow up or get out of the game because he is taking the game down by showing continual disrespect to his opponent, the referee, the organisers and most importantly the paying fans.

I have put a thread about, so the second round discussion does not get spoilt by his childish behaviour.
