Its weird how in all his interviews recently (including the Inside Sport one) hes been saying how hes in a good place at the moment and talking about the times when he used to feel like walking out, and now hes done it again.

Its definitely something to do with him losing, he wouldnt have walked out if he had just won the opening 3 frames of the session.

Wow, PTS, always the gentleman, isn't it ? And such an inspired pun, I'm in stitches. For your information, Ronnie's big enough and ugly enough to take a defeat and doesn't need any fans from thousands of miles away to jump to his defense. He didn't deserve to win and Perry played better. That's the simple truth. And all the people who think that most of Ronnie's fans are blinkered twits ready to faint and play dead and hoist Ronnie up to a pedestal while he's just a very talented human being are simply too immature.

Conceding a frame when mathematically able to win is an offense punished by the rules and according to JiangYu he was duly warned. It's not an acceptable behaviour for a pro and I'm not one to defend him.
And what strikes me as odd is that it's not us, the Ronnettes, that bring up his "mental state", which is a phrase that by means of excessive use in connection to Ronnie has got to make me vomit. It's the people who dislike Ronnie that simply adore to bring it up. And discredit themselves in the process.

        he beat himself !!

        His performance was stunning yesterday.
        Today his muse deserted him.

Good point. It's very convenient that Ronnie only has 'mental problems' when he's LOSING. If there was a 'mental problem' called 'Spoiled Brat Syndrome', then Ronnie would definitely be suffering from that.

Think Monique is old enough to defend herself and she knows I meant it not in bad spirit. I just made a thread about conceding the frame where I would have done it for any player. I also did it not to mix with the second round discussion. Also nowhere I mentioned his mental state, I dont where your personal attack comes from, and airing sarcasm about my gentleman behaviour. Whats that got to do with it?

Yes, Blackcat and I am sorry we are not on the same intelligent level like yourself.
              Apologies all over!

PTS, the "mental state" thing was brought up by another poster, not you. My mistake for not quoting that message as well and for that I apologise.

                .
Where was this mentioned in the post-match? When did Ronnie blame his losses on his mental state? Who of his fans mentioned it now?
This is exactly what I'm talking about.
Ronnie can't lose a match in peace without people anticipating the "mental state" defense from him. Since it never happens, something must be said to bring it up.
I give up. Toys, meet floor. Pram's not big enough.

Well, I dont let it all go.

                    1. You hinted I had ungentleman behaviour concerning the remark to Monique.
                    2. Sarcastic remark about my thread which was an "inspiring pun"
                    3. The part of Ronnie twits, which I did not hint in the slightest in any of my posts. My remark about ronnierettes was in banter as RITB came and shout "get over it!"

I dont want any apology, I am a big boy, just read a bit more careful next time who writes what on here!

                    Good night!

The Manager played better and won. The commentators made the point that he would have beaten anyone today. Enough of the disdain towards Ronnie please.

I haven´t been able to see the ROS-Perry match. What exactly was up there? The last score I knew was 5-3 for ROS and now I saw 9-5 to Perry. I read he conceeded again. When was that, last frame, after the interval Sorry if it´s been mentioned before (maybe on another thread)

He was 0-23 down and conceded at 6-5. He was warned in the dressing room after. Ronnie himself said that he didn't lose his head. The Manager was better on the day.

Oh, and Mark King is out too. Fat chance of us finding out anything about that match. Select coverage and reports take priority. King will bounce back though. His time will come soon.

thanks, thought he conceeded the whole match, not just one frame. But same result in the end anyway.
Sorry for King. I see, I´ll never win that Lucky Dip

I agree that the mental state should not be brought up - I did mention in a post earlier in the thread - (and this may have been misleading, but I was pointing out that it was just him being human and thowing toys out of the pram. That side is more often than not brought up by 'fans' mainly because it is a defence that people have used anytime he is not 100%.

He can not play brilliant all the time, just like anyone else - he is human. Willie Thorne had said that Ronnie looked bored earlier and said he was concerned when Ronnie looks like that - That is what I would argue against. When a player is on the receiving end of another player winning 4 frames in a row (at the time), they do tend to look pretty depressed (aside from Ebdon's focus!)

Ronnie was fine in his interview - he normally is fine about his opponent and he was quite right that Joe deserved it.

What ronnie did today would be nothing compared to what earl the pearl would have done.
