I'm gutted for Mark Credit to Ali though for holding his nerves & clinching victory, well played.

I'll have to comfort myself with the points that Mark got reaching the quarters, hopefully he can keep it up & get his @rse back in the top 16 :snooker:

Great match between Ali and Mark, great win, Ali, so glad forya! For I started rooting for Ali the second Ronnie was out and at the same time it was a pleasure to see Mark play so well.

Count two ... and I'm sure more. Ronnie is a one-off capable of producing the best and also the worst sometimes... It's never is the same when he is out of a tournament. Remember when you watched that match versus Ali where he made 5 centuries in 5 winning frames? Maybe you should go and read back your own posts....

And having said that outstanding stuff yesterday ... and I for one gutted for Mark J.

Self belief is a wonderful thing to possess and Carter seems to have plenty of it! Good to see Mark playing so well, and i'm sure this will stand him in good stead for next year.
