I don't know, I fail to see the greatness of this final.. Exciting yes (although I'm fairly sure Murphy will win it), but the standard hasn't been great at all.

i think its been a great final, murphy with his break building and long potting trying to pull away and marco with some cracking safety and very good mental strength staying with him despite being below his best.

The standard is not the best but you dont often see that in finals where the pressure is on, there is so much at stake.

Shame this wasn't held at The Barbican in York though.

i think its been a great final, murphy with his break building and long potting trying to pull away and marco with some cracking safety and very good mental strength staying with him despite being below his best.

The standard is not the best but you dont often see that in finals where the pressure is on, there is so much at stake.

I agree that it's enjoyable. Just not quite the one-visit snooker one might expect these days. If Marco wins this somehow, it will be down to his great temperament and his mental strength.
