It's a great match to watch so far albeit Marco's too slow for my liking, he takes so long to decide on a shot (don't get me wrong, he's a great match player) so I'm probably the only one here cheering Shaun Murphy on. Go Shaun :snooker:

Still right in the balance, Murphy playing the better all-round game though. We've seen it all change in a final session before though.

I really want Marco to win because he's had such a hard draw and he's been very unlucky at times in this tournament. He's pulled off some really good snookers - the one behind the brown!

Yeah, that one was REALLY awesome, wasn't it? Unlucky for the red to catch the knuckle of the middle pocket though, it would have been almost impossible to hit :snooker:

So are you telling me Murphy meant to fluke the red in the last frame then fluke a snooker behind a blue. Just watch tonight and count how many times the commentators say "that was bit fortunate" and you will be surprised how many times they say it for Murphy. Even me mother is getting p****d off with the run he has had.

The better players do seem to have the run of the balls but Murphy doesnt receive more good fortune than other top 4/5 players does he? Was he fortunate to win the WC in 2005? These strike me as silly comments regarding Shauns supposed "luck"

There's still a lot of mileage left in this final and I think it has the potential of going the distance! Marco has one of the best temperaments in the game, plus his great skill of playing great Snookers when it matters is second to none! Finally i belive Fu will get the better of Murphy tonight and be crowned uk champion.

Take it easy on yourself or you might get an ulcer or something It was meant as a joke but you have to admit fortune usually favours the better player. Anyhow, I'd rather enjoy the rest of the match whoever comes out the winner. I'm not a fan of either but I prefer Shaun's style of play

Shauns cueing is superb and much superior in my opinion to most others which is the main reason i feel he will win tonight. But good luck to Marco too.

I agree RocketRoy. Murphy has one of the best cue actions going! Very solid and reliable under pressure!
