This is a real shame, the best of 17 evens out the luck and the overall better player will always progress. The UK should be longer matches, its terrible Hearn has gone back on his word "he would leave the big majors alone"!! :P.

I think it's good a top player has said it. It's what a lot of us fans were thinking.

It's interesting that, for all the talk of "record ticket sales", I just tried to book a dozen tickets for each session tomorrow and it was quite happy to let me do so. It seems the only thing that's sold out is Barry Hearn
