Aswel as missing long pots he played the most ludicrous black to get on the red, then played that with so much screw he knocked the blue in. Exibition shots and not needed.

Yeah, he seems to have gotten carried away with the attention that he is looking for and thinks that he needs to play an exhibition type of game to get more fans interested. He's basically just being naive or playing to the audience which is not going to help his career at all. Players like Higgins or Selby would have a field day with him as they would punish him heavily if he plays like this all the time.

Great when the balls are going in for him but he's not going to cue that well, all the time. If I was his manager I'd definitely be having a word with him to get his match head on in games, keep the exhibition stuff for when the frame is won.

That is a bold prediction. ROS looks quite dangerous at the moment, and if trump is to beat him, I think he'll need to play a fair bit better than he did today.
Hope he does though, because I certainly wouldn't mind a repeat of the PTC 9 final, with some (sadly just a few) more frames.

Just a feeling I got in my (oversized) gut. I may well be wrong.

Judd was poor earlier on, I'll give you that. I dunno where my prediction came from, to be fair.

What a match, Mark Williams vs Joe Jogia. Wow!

Sounds like divine inspiration, go with it. We'll see tomorrow afternoon whether you're blessed or not.

You're not kidding, talk about a game of two halves! Williams looked like a snooker God before the break, but then he struggled terribly, gifting Jogia chance after chance. OK, he got over the line, but could have easily lost that one. And what about those stats at 4 - 3:

                    Williams - Jogia
                    total pts
                    449 - 219
                    balls potted
                    136 - 62
                    high break
                    79 - 30

                    And it was 4 - 3.

Ronnie isn't playing that well. He missed a lot of easy chances but Davis never made the most of them. Ronnie made a few amazing pots but they took attention away from his simple misses Likewise in the PL Ding had a shocker. I fancy Trump to win this one 6-4 - infact I'm 99% sure Trump will win.

Higgins and Trump are fortunate to still be in this tourny though.

Davis took the first frame, and I thought he was going to take the second. Granted, I was watching in the pub, but I thought if he had been playing somebody a bit younger and hungrier he'd have risked being behind quite early on.

                        We'll see what happens.
