Why does snooker have to be restricted to the BBC and Eurosport (awful coverage)? I'd love to know if Hearn has approached ITV 1 (not ITV 4), Sky Sports (for ranking tournaments), channel 4 and even channel 5. I don't think there's a Scottish tournament atm is there? So there's a gap for a tournament.

Although: Eurosport would easily cut a snooker game off on its high point as well, because they have to switch to truck pulling or some BS like that ;-))

So its not the BBC alone I suppose ...

I have to watch most of the games on the secondary stream links (or german eurosport), although I'm a paying customer at liveworldsnooker, but they don't allow me to watch the UK Champs from germany ... PTC10 worked fine though
They didn't just cut it when the score was 5-5, they cut it whilst the final frame was actually being played!

    Come on Maguire!

Robertson and Dott don´t look like tournamentwinners. Quite scrappy.

Robertson steals the frame and goes 5 - 2 up. I can´t see Dott making a comeback.

Robertson missed 4 matchballs and lost on a respotted black. 5 - 3.

A cruel fate for Dott, went 60 in front just for Robertson to make a comeback. Robertson needs to improve a lot if he´s going to have a chance in the quarters.

Interesting, I was primarily watching the Higgins-Maguire match, and everytime I switched over it looked like Robertson was playing quite well. I guess you really need to watch the entire match to get the full story

In any case, very nice clearance in the last frame, typical Robertson.

I remember this poster 'Rane' said the same thing about O'S after a classy session v Mark Williams in the 2010 world's,I don't know what precedent he's basing form off but then I doubt he does either :-)
