Yet, another interesting point here we have.
After that classy session against MJW, he lost his next match. Theoretically speaking, the comment was spot on : )

By the way, for me, TV commentating seems to be getting monotonous these days. I'm not into hearing the same words "Not of the highest quality, but indeed a fascinating match" over and over again at the end of a match.
So, their prescribed performance bar is set at an even higher point, I'd say.
    All the way Mark J!!

Ken Doherty, while clearly being a nice enough fellow, has nothing insightful or remotely original to say about anything, and is completely lacking in charisma. I suppose he did win the world title which gives his opinion some merit, but I can't see why they've dumped Clive Everton for him.

Walden is in terrific form. Williams needs to up his game if wants to win this.

Not a good start for MJW, 3 - 1 down at the intterval.

Murphy is also playing good snooker...4-0 against Gould.

He doesn't look like a player who's siting 20 places below Williams does he.

No not really. But it has to be said that Walden form varies greatly. He can be excellent one day and quite poor the other.

Mark's starting to respond now, cracking match this.

We've seen some great flukes in this tournament so far this year, what about that black clipping off the blue from Walden! (I'd have claimed that 'as played' myself. )

Great fight back from Gould at the moment, about to get it back to 5-4, en route to another century.

Hmmmm, interseting first few rounds so far.

Few players finding form that int for a while.

I Wonder, what if they'd been best of 17s instead?

Walden did very well holding himself together there, great pressure pot and position on the last red, well done to him.
