Looks like a strong finish from Dott.

Still, Steadman did very well to get as far as he did. The ranking points he will accumulate now from this good run will be a huge help and he may now be more or less secure of at least retaining his main tour place. Can only be good if he doesnt have any added pressure like that to worry about, like most of the rookies seem to have to do, as many of them sadly seem to fall straight off after one year....

Overall, it has not been an exciting day of qualifiers for me..

I have to agree with you Most of the matches have either had the wrong scoreline for me or just not been close, and the ones that are I don't really mind who wins...

Tomorrow should be good though: Can Judd win a match this season? Can Micheal White beat Liang? Jamie Cope's playing Ken!!! And Waldo's back as well as Steve and Matthew Stevens!!!
