Yeah, you just don't get easy matches, even in the 1st or 2nd qualifying round. But I did have hopes for Xiao to have a couple of good runs. Especially after seeing him play as a wild card in the China Open. He knocked out Holt and Ding, and held his own against O'Sullivan.

But I guess that means nothing now. Some of the lower ranked players are masters at producing their best in the qualifiers.
