yes 4.4 on reflection seems to be about right any one knows what went wrong in higgins match heard he was 4.1 up ending up 4.4 though

I watched bits of the match and i think it was just a case of Higgins (going off the boil) when he was 4-0 in front..

ok, it looks like 5-3 to Stephen Lee but I'm pretty pleased with that considering Mark was 4-1 down at one point. He can still win from 5-3 behind.

EDIT: lee finishes the session with a 141 break. Impressive

What an interesting session it was.. 4-0 Higgins, then 4-4.. Ebdon-Trump, Hendry-Davis all level..

By the way, with their current performances, it is not hard to judge that Mark Williams is going to take back his Welsh number one status from Ryan Day in the provisional rankings soon.. The Dynamite has yet to explode this season..

Jamie Cope get's off to a good start this afternoon by taking the 9th frame with a break of 100 and leads 5-4..

I would like to see an A+ quality game from John in this one, and get to know how long can Ricky stay with him..

And from the very beginning of his career, Mark Allen has not left an impression over me as a tournament winner, he tends to rely on his own form too much.. He does not seem to have that fighting spirit when he is having a bad day..

Hopefully he will win some, it's tough to be sure, though.. Even when today's stars decline, Ding's reign will begin and Murphy and Selby will probably be threats to him.. Allen will need to produce a special week to win something among those guns..

He is not playing up to a standard, and although he is talented, his not-so-great game is not that high, he tends to completely give up at times.. He needs a lifeline here to level at the MSI..

To be fair to Selby he hasn't had that many opportunities to get his hand on the table with Cope dominating things at present. Selby needs an easy opening to get his cue arm going and build his confidence too..
