Reminds me of how Hendry lost to Allen in this tournament in 2007. But then he went on to beat him in the WC, and he possibly plays Selby in the 2nd round there.

We shall see. He still needs some results this season to keep himself in the top 16. But the amount of unforced errors, and also the way he gave up doesn't speak to him at all.
