Where did they get the weights from? Do they have a weigh-in in snooker?

Probably the same as when a boxer goes for (the weigh in) before a fight, has to stand there in just his underwear..

He'd probably just shrug his shoulders as he isn't really a big pie eater. Vodka ? Maybe. Chinese ? Perhaps. Pies... no, thanks ...

He would had comeback from 0-8 down
and thrash Ronnie/Higgo 10-0 in the final

Although the other comment made more sense, this made me laugh a lot more

I can appreciate "Worth your weight in gold". Fine.
But... "Worth your weight in pies"?!? Barf.

would love to see the look on the face of John/Ronnie/Ding when a truck turns up on their doorstep with a few hundred pies on it. I would hope they would give them away as some kind of christmas food parcels. or to their local chippie in return for a year's free fish and chips!

good idea for publicity though. If Ding does win will they airfreight them over to China? I suppose they gave us the great chinese takeaway so we should send some of our delicacies in return

Yeah exactly - they should make sure to film whoever's face on arrival of pies - for pulicity

                          But donating fast food?

(Sorry maybe those pies aren't exactly fast food. I haven't seen them (except of noel's efforts to drown snooker players or ja.'s lucky dip with shiny ones). Still feels like donating rich in vitamins McDonald's hamburgers).

Maybe this sponsor is someone's secret plan to reduce winner's chances to compete in the nearest tournaments. Imagine a rich Xmas table - neverending variety of PUKKA pies

should i be concerned that im 5'11 and weigh 2 1/2 kilos more than john higgins who is in all fairness, "a big lad"?
you are taller than him, so if you shorten your head by (cutting off) about 5 inches, that's where those 2 kilos difference is

honestly I don't know, but he is shorter than me (I'm about 5'9), so I am just guessing
