As a non Brit I would rather travel To Cardiff than to Newport for many reasons. I reckon I'm not the only one. If snooker is to redevelop itself those are factors to take into consideration.
Which venues in Cardiff would they be using? I would much prefer going to Cardiff as it would be easier travelling from Barry than an extra half-hour or so to Newport, although when I went there this year I enjoyed it.:snooker:
