And the second - Ding could be in trouble here and Campbell has had a decent season. I think Campbell has beat Ding before and it is the sort of match that Ding used to struggle in.

1-0 Harold with Walden having a useful 43-2 lead in second frame - think that could be tight and Harold may pull a slight surprise there.

Yes, especially as its the best of 7. Hopefully Ding's class will get him through, but Campbell can cause big upsets from time to time..

Ding back to 2-2 and favourite to push on from here and Walden with good lead in frame 4 to go 3-1 in front...Thought Harold had played well in qualifying though, but looks like Walden going to move on and with that ensure 100% that he will be in a top 16 spot for the worlds

Apparently Ronnie O'Sullivan crashed his car (and the other guy's) in an accident and didn't even say sorry. Just what you'd expect from him anyway.

He's got now the perfect excuse to get another medical certificate, withdraw a few hours before his match and get his first round 700 ranking points.

Good response from Ding after being 0-2 down. He is missing a couple though...

A couple of questionable balls have also gone in today, the table definitely seems more generous than in the last two tournaments. Early days though.

Have you hired paparazzi to follow him?

Stevens v Hamilton started, Hamilton on some 20-ish break (www.fromsport.com has both tables).

                      Harold made it to 3-3.

Wondering if they will put either of the matches on Eurosport @1400 as promissed...

Oh, come on! Harold just played a red along the side cushion, missed it by a mile, and it still went in.

I guess we are back to some ridiculous conditions again.

i think it was the low pace which in the end dropped the red in
