Some great safety from Ebdon to win his first frame. He can't string three pots together at the moment, but he's hanging in there.

Decent break from Carter to win 4-1. He seems to like this event, I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the final again. But he will need to raise his game to have a chance.

That's because nowadays he's a pretty ordinary player (at least in ranking tournaments) whereas in the past, those that defeated him would more often than not make the final or win the tournament!!!

I for one would like to see him competitive again :snooker:

True, because they find him easier to beat nowadays... He just doesn't have that "fear factor" anymore!
