Fascinating frame this - Some great laying of snookers, some great escapes, some misses and some flukes and few good pots earlier on.

Allen flukes the green lays good safety on the brown, then misses it and leaves over the pocket for Ding, who pots it but can't get on the brown.

76-73 with blue pink and black left...

And cracking long blue from Ding - but misses an easy pink!!!

And then Allen misses an easy pink, although he did at least have to play position, but leaves Ding on and this time Ding makes no mistake.

Still careless from Mark - should have punished Ding there - now 2-1 to Mark and anyone's game again.

Good break from Ding in the decider. Allen won't believe he lost this match.

As I suspected, this quarter didn't really produce any strong contenders, but it will still be interesting to see the clash between Carter and Ding.

Cool break in the decider from Ding, especially going into the pack when he only needed the loose red followed by a black :snooker: Shame it wasn't a century though!

I can't believe Mark couldn't finish the job at 3-1 He looked very rusty
