Yes, not really fireworks from him, but still a good victory. He played some great shots in that crucial clearance in the 4th frame, and also some good shots to get the century. But he was lucky that Williams wasn't at his best.

Similar performance from Selby though, so it's tough to pick the favourite in that match.

Disappointing afternoon!!!

Mark J. was no where near his best but all credit to Maguire, he played well in patches... THE IMPORTANT PATCHES! Mark J. probably missed in this match as much as he's missed all season

Haven't seen the other match, except for a couple of minutes & the balls were awkwardly placed (I wonder why?! ) so I switched off! This half of the draw has lost its appeal to The Dream Team I hope Mags makes the final though

I was looking forward to a possible re-match between Williams and Selby following their last meeting in the final of the German Masters. Oh well It's not to be. As I said in a earlier post, its the best I have seen Maguire play in quite sometime, but he's not at quite the standard to go all the way..

Off day for Mark J, combined with his recent ultra-confident mood, made the things clearly tougher for him..
Nice to see Stephen getting back to his usual self, anyway
