A couple of misses from Carter in the last two frames, and Higgins takes both. Perhaps an early chance missed.

I'll continue talking to myself I suppose...

Not exactly one visit stuff at the moment, but still a good break from one of the players in every frame so far. Higgins leads 3-2.

Interesting fella this Higgins, when will he finally lose a match?

Edit: sorry Odrl for interupting your thoughts. Let's imagine I didnt say it out loud. Continue :-]

Higgins has now taken control of the match, 5-2 ahead and Carter visibly upset.

Solid performance from Higgins in the end. Carter just made too many mistakes after the interval, and Higgins was too good to let him get away with them.

                Another interesting match coming tonight.

Looks like we'll be seeing Higgins vs Selby in the final.

A slightly disappointing semi-final it has to be said, though the result is not that surprising. Higgins was generally better in every department.

Hopefully this evenings 2nd semi will prove to be a much closer contest, and maybe even go to a deciding frame, now that would be good..

and hendo is again on the same 10 147s
and MJW might catch-up on world titles (on ranking titles too if this continue as they are, MJW has close-to-20 titles)
and higgins might even take over on WC titles

                        ronnie's stats/records are in danger!

I'm not so sure about that.

Wow what a frame that was. Plenty of twists and turns. It was a tricky black but I still expected Selby to make it..
