I hope this is the last time they mention JH Sr in the post-match interview to be honest - it's obviously upsetting for him to talk about it and dragging it out for every tournament seems like a cheap trick to get dramatic moments in the post-match.

One thing that I think deserves credit is the way Maguire worked hard to get snookers in the latter stages of the 15th frame. He had an awful lot to do and in the end it was in vain, but he came close and we can all learn that it's not [i[quite[/i] over till the fat lady sings.

Agreed. 8-7 would have changed the complexion of the match, and losing the frame after having one hand on the trophy would have been a major psychological blow to John, but we know Higgins is extremely tough mentally these days.
