  • 3 tons in 3 frames

Doesn't happen all that often, but I understand that Ricky Walden went 3-0 up with breaks of 107, 139 and 110 against Stuart Pettman yesterday.

I noticed that as well, Statman. Seems Walden means business. Quite some nice breaks and also a nice match against Ronnie in the UK. Didn't Ronnie speak in high terms of Ricky Walden's game afterwards?

Seems like someone is eager to get away from Pontins.

Ricky Walden really very solid, I remember he ever beat Ding in a qualifying round also last season.

Statman, do you have records of consecutice tons? I know three was a record, by Mountjoy and Davis, until Hendry equalled it. Didn't Higgins and later Hunter make four?

            Statman,

When I saw the title of this thread I immediately clicked on it because I thought you had made 3 tons in 3 frames!
