Not sure Paul - but I predicted 5-2 for much needed points!

AT least he didn't fall into the trap. Another sizeable points advantage over Ding, Higgo and Ebdon.....

            • Looks like 4-0 to Murphy. Sigh.

              • Murphy looks to be in good form again. Just knocked in a century and is on 77 and counting in the next. 4-0 lead over Cope now.

(although I can't fully recall the provisional 2-year ranking list I saw on global snooker centre before it disintegrated or whatever happened)

                    • 5-0 Murphy

And just to comment on that theory of Ebdon being no.1, he's 4th on the 2 year list with the 5 completed rankers and the welsh so far included. Doherty's still firmly on top.

The top 32 as of Murphy beating Cope:

                      1 Ken Doherty 31900
                      2 Graeme Dott 30175
                      3 John Higgins 29750
                      4 Peter Ebdon 29050
                      6 Shaun Murphy 28200
                      5 Stephen Hendry 27975
                      7 Ding Junhui 26600

                              • I believe the problem with Williams at the moment is that he is going for really stupid shots instead of playing a good safety. He seems intent on going for pots that even he would only pot 6 or 7 times out of 10. Especially if he is low on confidence it starts to make him look a bit amateur and probably embarrases him.

Murphy will win this as he is playing well and nearly all the seeds in the top half are out.
