I feel sorry for Hamilton because he's a good player, but not Harold who is the most boring player on the circuit. How long has he been a professional? You'd think during that period he would have changed his cue action slightly so that he had at least an ounce of cue power at his disposal...

A bit harsh Rich... if he changes it he could lose everything, and even if he did change it, can anyone say he would improve on where he is now?

I say hats off to the guy for making the most of what he has and staying around the top of the game for so long.

                • Any chance someone can let us know what's going on now please?

Last I heard Davis was 2-1 up on Dott, Murphy and Burnett were 2-2 and Harold and Hamilton were 3-3...

                  Much appreciated

                  • That's odd. Have you tried channel 991? I have the most basic SKY package possible.

You have to admire his determination of course, but surely there could have been an alteration at some point, however slight? The commentators were talking today about how Mark Selby and Shaun Murphy had reduced their back swings, so why couldn't Dave Harold have lengthened his a bit? That way he could have done a lot better over the years and earnt a lot more money...?

It's 3-1 to Davis. Harold is looking to level at 3-3.

Hurray, I've found it - thank you so much. How annoying it's taken me till now to ask!
I'm off now to watch it as the computer is upstairs and the tv downstairs!

I take your point, but it's probably a little naive of us to be talking like this when he's probably spent hours trying to adapt, but some people can and some people can't.

If you take a look at golf, and putting particularly, which is the nearest equivalent to a snooker stroke I have found in sporting terms, some people change and slip into the new technique easily (Bernard Langer for example) while others try countless different methods, before returning to their initial method, as it is the only one they feel comfortable with.

Harold may feel great if he can screw the length of the table, but if he then doesn't feel comfortable over the bread and butter pots, it's a waste of his talent and he won't earn as much money as he could have done....

Me too. I am running a long tv cable to upstairs so that I can watch next to my computer.

                                Hamilton 4-3 in front
Murphy ahead as well now 3-2

and Mr. Davis played some pretty solid snooker. and what is even better, Eurosport is still on the game!
