Why is it that this tournament is only shown on BBC Wales? Are we to presume that the tournaments held in England won't be available to our Welsh viewers?

Thankfully I have Sky Digital but my grandad doesn't, and I'm sure he would have liked to have watched it this week.....

Anyway, I hope Selby can beat Stevens...he's a really good prospect whereas Stevens is an underachiever lacking in motivation. It may also prevent the presenters from going on and on about their Welsh players all the time.

im often annoyed watching the snooker on eurosport coz they seem to be comentating to ppl that have neevr seen snooker or r lissning on radio or that they thing we r absolute idiots. but they have become better at it this last few tournamnts lol on otherhand yes the bbc commentators do the repetition of useless comments such as stevesn being welsh plaing in welsh open wining it b4 etc etc etc and it tires one out *rolling eyes*

5-1 Selby...great performance. He impresses me more and more each time I see him, and appears to have a great temperament. Could go a long way here as the 'big names' often don't do very well in these smaller tournaments (hence the reason Stephen Lee somehow managed to win last year).

Selby impresses. He have improved a lot this year as well compared to before. He nailed his century number 34 (or something like that) in his career this match, and he have done 15 this year alone, so it won't take long until we see him as one of the big snooker names I think.

Still don't like to see Mathew go out though.. I kinda like him.

well he didnt look well. he kinda seemed better towards the end but it was too late. selby did well but i wanted to see stevens play more.
lets home my other favs do better.

Stevens is completely off the boil. At this rate he will be joining Jimmy White very soon.

Selby was really good today,sorry for Matthew though.What has happened to him?Two years ago he reached WC final...

All in all I am not too suprised to see Day lose today. To be honest he didn't play that brilliant in Malta scraping through most rounds before handing the final on a plate to Murphy. Credit to Judge though because he has potted the balls even though Day has again handed most frames to him.
