Didn't see any of it so can't possibly comment. However, one thing I will say is that with Ebdon leading 4-1, playing well this season, and everyone else seeming to be being beaten early at the moment (Higgins here and in Malta, Ronnie in Malta, eetc) Ebdon could well be World Number 1 next season.... (although I can't fully recall the provisional 2-year ranking list I saw on global snooker centre before it disintegrated or whatever happened)

I already said that on two other forums... Points! So happy for those ranking points.
The O'Sullivan/McCulloch match could have been closer, yes. Solid breaks from Ronnie when he got in and that steal in the 5th...great one! His safety seemed ok, too. This being said, I think Ian missed too much after taking the early initiative. Who knows...maybe last year's first-round match in Newport was still somewhere in the back of his mind...
Anyway...BC is happy. Let me see for how long.
