  • Hopefully Robertson can carry on his form this time, unlike his similar performance in the masters where he fell apart the next round.

He did well, but how Dott messed up that clearance in the last frame I don't know. He did the hard bit in moving the green, and then inexplicably missed the yellow.
Hendry came back well, and was a little unlucky in the last frame I thought, but Robertson put together a good break and that was that

Davis has a chance to get another semi-final under his belt here, with a quarter against Hamilton not TOO tricky.

6 Englishmen, a Scot and an Aussie in the quarters, nothing for the home crowd to cheer about!

                  • Higginson took the first frame against Carter. But I won't be watching the rest, I'm off to get tattooed. :-) See you all in 5-6 hours.

                    • @elvaago: have ehm fun? Hope it doesn't hurt too much

Higginson is just doing a century, currently at 125, so 2-0 to Higginson over Carter.

Edit: 147! (According to LiveScoring at least) Congratulations, Andrew!
Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

                      • Hi all!
Is there any way to follow the Carter-Higginson match? Other than live scoring, that is? I've checked with Eurosport and BBC, but they all don't start until the ROS-Robertson match, it seems...
                        Cheers!

Pity really, I would have enjoyed watching that 147...
