lol, I had to give up watching at 6-6 and considering it went to 6-8 until Neil fought back it was a good thing I didn't watch.
Just extremely happy that Neil took it in the end, although Andrew could be my second favourite player easily.

      • Wow, great stuff indeed. Congrats to Robertson and Higginson both!

I found it very touching what Robertson said afterwards, nearly only talking about his mum not being able to watch and Higginson's achievement. Must've given Higginson a lot of confidence for his coming matches. Hope to see him again on telly soon!
Das war ein FLUKE! Ein Glückstreffer!

        • Great final indeed. Robertson showed pure class and mental strength. He took his chance and won. Well done to Higginson, a great player as well.

          • Yeah, great final...
At 6-2 I thought it was over (and I was quite dissapointed) but it turned out to be great....

            • I haven't seen all the finals this season from start to finish but I've seen most frames... and I don't know if you people agree but, to me, it was the best final that I have seen in this season so far. Great stuff indeed!

                • I think this whole tournament was high class. Enjoyed every bit of it. Stayed up lots of long nights. Pitty I couldn't stand watching the end of yesterday's final (will go checkout Eurosport for repeats now)

                  • It's the first one where one of the players didn't completly collapse.

                        • A great great tournament. Will be remembered for years to come.

Well done to Neil Robertson for winning and beating in my opionion the best 3 players the game has ever seen on the way to winning - Ronnie,Hendry, Davis.

Also a big well done to Higginson for his 147 and the 6 frames he played from 6-2 down were as good as anything ever seen. Hope we see more of Higginson soon!

I went to eat at 6-2 thinking it was all over - came back in, put the tv on and it was 8-6 to Higginson. Unfortunately I think I must have put the mockers on him!
Well done to Neil for keeping his nerve though.
