  • Nice to see Hendry in good form. I felt sorry for him last couple of years.

      • Stephen Hendry 3-1 Stephen Lee
        76-37
        122(89)-0
        54(32)-53(53)
        0-96(96)

Seems to be quite a good match, both close frames and good breaks - pity we can't watch it!

        • For the record, I am not anti-Ronnie. I am anti rabid fans.

Ronnie is one of the best players ever and he consistently appears in my top 10 lists.

I am, however, against a lot of his behaviour. But that's another issue altogether.

More on topic. Hendry seems back on track a little bit. It'd be fantastic to see him win another tournament, but I don't see him beating an inform Murphy anymore.

          • I agree about O'Sulivan. He is one of the greatest players along side with Hendry, Davis and Higgins, but his attitude on and off the table can be admired only by some hot shot teenagers and noty girls. I prefer watching players that have more serious approach to the game, such as Higgins, Hendry, Murphy, Maguire, Doherty....

            • You can find strange fans for every player. I remember how uncomfortable I was feeling when reading certain Davis fan posts on this forum, for example.

Maybe we should stick to the match discussion better?

              • You are right. Hendry-Lee 3-2 now.
Can Lee turn this match around?

                • 4-2 now. Lee will fight to the end, but hopefully Hendry will win

I dont know off-hand what the head to head is between ronnie and carter, but from what i can remember ronnie is massively ahead. They do seem to draw each other a lot, Caters day must come sooner or later ?

                          • Hendry has just taken frame and match 5-2 over Lee with a collection of modest breaks in the last frame. He's in a semi again .

                            • Hurray - Stephen Hendry wins 5-2 - I was terrified of commenting before in case I jinxed him as I usually do!
