No but at 1-0 down but in amongst the balls it could be totally different. You never settle until you've got that first frame on the board as Virgo says.

        • Perry's aim now is to avoid the dreaded whitewash. But it's Murphy with the first chance in this frame

          • A fluked red takes the black out of commission, giving Murphy the chance to play the safety off the green

Murphy in again, looking to make the most of this opportunity. The whitewash is now looking increasingly likely

Murphy misses an easy blue into the middle. What can Perry make of this opportunity?

                • Perry not messing about here. He wants this frame on the board

Perry had the interval to practice and he now looks sharp all of a sudden. Game on!

Commentator's curse. He misses the red along the cushion and Murphy is back at the table

It's a whitewash and Murphy's smug smile says it all

                  • More important than demolishing Perry is the serious warning he sent to O Sullivan for tomorrow.
I saw that going differently in my mind

                    • Can it be the match duration was 1:09?
                      Quick match that was.

Yes it was ! The Dutch commentator told this as well.

                        • In the interview Murphy said O'Sullivan is the best player in the world!

                          Didn't expect that...

Should be a good match tomorrow!

                          • Any ideas of tomorrows scheduale? Surely its about time Murphy had an afternoon match rather than an evening like he has throughout this event.

I think I heard the MC say before the Murphy match tonight that tomorrow first semifinal will be Hendry vs Selby, so Ronnie vs Murphy semi should be evening one...

Darn it. Looks like I will be missing it.

                                2008 Malta Cup 6-5 v Ding Junhui
