Should be a good match tomorrow

        • I was impressed with Murphy early in the week. He seems to have worked out that you can do your talking on the table.

So pleased to see the class of ROS shining through. Awesome stuff Ronnie - keep it going for Sheffield.

          • Indeed great stuff knowing Murphy is actually the one to beat.
Amazing how Ronnie can on occasion level up his game. Simply the best.
I saw that going differently in my mind

            • Ronnie played well tonight and i think he beat Shaun because he played a better tactical game. At potting balls both are very strong but tonight Ronnie safety play was better and the scoreline reflects that.
We should have a good final tomorrow.
"There has only ever been Alex Higgins, myself and now Ronnie O'sullivan who play the game the way it should be played with such excitement - I know the fans love it this way" - Jimmy White

              • A great final to be expected indeed. After this evening's performance Ros favorite now - couldn't be said the whole week as his game was very average. Ros looks very eager to become the recordholder of the official 147's - in the last frame you could really see how he wants this so much.

                • one red near the cushing and one red on the blue spot together with pink and blue, hard to pot.I think tha't why Ronnie gave up 147,even though 147 is so important in his mind.

Maybe he forgot, wrapped in his very good tactical play and breakbuilding, after the interval.

Excellent match, great quality, Ronnie stepped up a few gears, showed his class and, most importantly, I could feel he actually enjoyed playing snooker.
And, as a fan, I couldn't be happier.
No matter the result, we'll have the priviledge to watch two in-form players contesting the final tomorrow/today.
                      I'll drink to that!

                      • Tomorrow's final couldn't be more mouth watering. We have a battle between two players who wear their hearts on their sleeves, enjoy getting the crowd on the edge of their seats and are never afraid of speaking their minds to the press. O'Sullivan will be looking to become only the third player in history to reach a milestone 20 Ranking Tournaments, while Selby, by contrast, will be hoping to add his first of many

                        • "I feel the only real difference was that Ronnie got the better chances," said Murphy.

"What should be noted is the amount of respect that Ronnie paid me on the table.

"Every time he was playing safe he concentrated on putting the cue ball in the precise position that would make it as tough as possible for me."

After the GP semi he said he "had no chance" after leading 5-2 or something along those lines.
He'll never be a gallant loser, Murphy. It takes balls to admit the other one was better. 22 balls, at least.
