Oh the nerve! Fu taking on a four ball plant in this important frame... and he's on the pink nicely!

Hey, I've just spotted Ding is now 4-2 up, with a sizable break!

Do I dare to say the B word?

Edit: I have to say anything that crosses my mind, don´t I?
        Edit2: B.. Break for Ali.

Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman

So, Marco Fu now leads the head-to-head against Ronnie 8-7.

So, the rivalry is between Ronnie and Marco not Ronnie and Perry and not Ronnie and Selby!

Still holding my breath, but it looks as if Ali's scraped through.

Maguire survived as Ding didt get the match ball, fine pressure break. I still fancy Ding to win though.

Good 71 clearance from Maguire to keep himself in the match...Ding was 69 ahead and 4-2......now is 4-3 Ding.

                        Ronnie is out

Fu won deservedly, capitalising on Ronnie's mistakes in an efficient way.
                          But he's a blatant cheat.
And I mean the foul on the pink in frame 7? Or 6? It was obvious from a mile away.
So no congrats from me! I've seen so many instances of fouls being called by the offending player himself that I can't wrap my head around this lack of honesty.
That and the fact that Williams was also miles away when the shot was played.

Deserved to win but only the match, not my respect. Although I'm sure that's the reason he can't sleep at night.

The next quaterfinalist is Ali Carter.

And I think I have had just enough drama for the next couple of hours, so I might as well get some work done now.
