EDIT Yesterday i was criticizing Tabb.....What about Eirian ?
I didn't see it so can't comment, but that if true that is at least the third time - He has done it against Ebdon and Murphy before - in a game of honesty and sportsmanship, it is a shame.

I thought it grazed the red a little - Dominic was saying after the replay.

Definitely not. There were more instances but my memory isn't that accurate anymore. A huge one during the 06 Worlds, and more recently during the 2008UK match against Murphy.

I'm sure this will be labelled as "sour grapes" and to prevent it I'd like to repeat that Fu deserved to win.
        A match.

And Eirian is extremely competent when respotting and noticing fouls. Very much so! Almost as good as I am, and I'm heavily myopic.

That was my opinion too..hes done it before......seems Fuu lacks honesty and sportsmanship...

PS It didnt clip no red...it was a full hit on the pink...

Sorry - I meant graze. Dominic did a replay. I didn't quite catch the rest of it but I'm sure if it was a foul, there would have been more talk about it. I think Dominic said something along the lines of, "Oh yes, it hit the pink along the way (referring to the white after the graze on the red)"

To add, the guys on 606 aren't even discussing it.

This attack on Fu is a little unfair in my opinion. I first thought that he had hit the red, but was not sure after the replay. Fu was on the other side of the table, and with Williams watching it, there was no reason for Fu to doubt him.

As for the match itself, some fine play by Fu in the second half. He had O'Sullivan in a lot of trouble with his safeties, and also made some fine breaks. O'Sullivan was pretty mediocre though.

Looks like Maguire is turning things around, he could get me at least a point for the predictions for this afternoon's matches. Although I would prefer Ding to win.

Fu was the better player and deserved to win...but one cannot be silent when this happens, and happens more than once....the UK incident was not long ago.

Nice to see Maguire not throwing the towel being 4-2 down.

What a chance he has of closing up the gap to the number one spot and knowing how Ronnie plays at China (if he shows up at all), we could well have Maguire as world number one before the WC.

All credit to Marco the way he turned things around, espeically at one point when being 3-1 down. He has a good record against O Sullivan so it wasn't that much of a surprise i suppose.

It's ironic that an O'Sullivan fan acuses another player of poor sportsmanship

                              What did Fu do?

Walk out when he was losing? Attack an official? Attempt to bully the ref? Use sexually offensive language? Insult his opponent?

The replay showed that the cue ball just caught the red

He's not a cheat and this is just nasty sour grapes

I knew it - now I'm completely sure it wasn't a foul. I was stating before that on the replay it did look as if the cueball had grazed the red and admitedly it didn't look like it from the commentary box, which is why Dominic went on to put the replay on. Although many remark on Fu's inability to own up to fouls, I consider him to be as straight as a dice. I have faith in Marco that he didn't realise his fouls in both the Ebdon Semi-Final and the recent UK Final.
