The strange thing is it was given to Selby by George Barmby, his former manager (the two split more than three years ago). It's more than possible that the two split on unfriendly terms and Barmby has found a strange and rather nasty way of getting his own back. Incredibly odd. Selby writes a blog on Eurosport so I guess we'll be hearing the whole story from him soon.
