It is generally felt that the best chance to upset a tournament favourite is in the early stages of a competition- they are coming in cold- which is what Ronnie will be- Davis has already played and won a qualifier.
Don't count him out of upsetting Ronnie. Anything is possible
It is on BBC Wales. (don't think it is on other BBC regions) As long as you have digital you'll have BBC Wales. It will probably be on Eurosport as well.
Phew! I live in Wales so that's ok then . I had a look on the Radio Times website and couldn't find it. I forgot the main listings are for England .
Selby's match against Davies is televised live on Eurosport at 1pm on Tuesday.
Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman 2009 Grand Prix Fantasy Game winner
Anyone know previous outcomes of Davis vs O'Sullivan matches?
Thanks.
=o)
Noel
they have met 30 times Noel, and O Sullivan leads 21-6 with 3 draws. Of the remaining 11, 8 have been in ranking events ( O Sullivan has won all 8) and 3 have been in "The Masters" events (2 Wembley,1 Goffs...Davis has won all 3).

it's hard to judge how O'Sullivan will react having just spent sometime with his father - he might be fired up to win or he might be not so bothered. Davis will be up for it, that's for sure.
I'm going for a 5-0 defeat of Davis. It will be interesting whether Davis will pull off his conservative break off shot. Does anyone remember the Premier League where O'Sullivan was amused, lol?
