def think Steve Davis will cause Ronnie a few problems early on, but as the match goes on Ronnie will more than likely romp home with a comfortable victory!

will we have a choice of tables from the bbc red button? or just the main match

I think we will have a choice of tables. In the Masters, we didn't get a choice of tables as there was only 1!

I dont think there has been in previous years. According to the thread about the same thing last year there has been no "interactive" service atall until the semi final stage, let alone coverage of 2 tables.

Just confirmed on the bbc site they will only be showing the SF and F online and interactive.

i was going to ask the same question...how many tables are in newport and which games will be shown on tv??
If theyre not showin the white / carter match then i mite head over to newport on tuesday.

If it was down to popular demand it would be no contest for the white/carter match. BBC might not think of that though, and are most likely to show Selbys match IMO, as he is defending champion and a current big name.

yes but surely if there are 2 matches on tv via the red button they will show the white/carter match.

there isnt anything on tv via the red button until the s/f, so you can forget about 2 tables

There is a main table which usually had all the TV matches on then a smaller cubicle next to it where they sometimes show footage. There is also another cubicle with no coverage. There is no red button coverage until the semis.

ok well surely they will show jimmy, i mean we will see lots of selby and the likes for years to come...we wont get a chance to see jimmy much as his career is comin to an end and he is still more popular than any players around nowadays bar maybe ronnie...so cmon BBC and do the right thing!!...FOR THE SAKE OF SNOOKER!!
