Good win for Higgins, although he did let it slip a bit towards the end. Is it going to be Higgins or O'Sullivan in the final? Statistics say Higgins, form says O'Sullivan.
It's pay back time for Ronnie. He will not let Higgins became his bogey man again. Go to the SF thread. I already open it up for discussion.
What a difference a day makes! Yesterday Ronnie whitewashed a practically non-existent Cope and my feeling was he didn't really play well. Today he was focused, careful and in the mood to play to win.
Such a shame, that green, after those tremendous pots. Hats off to Allen for aplaudding the attempt.
And what a delightful match, with two in-form players, wanting to put up a good performance.
Great to see them have a chat and the white towel thing was both endearing and funny. 2005 Masters final memories, anyone? Well done, Ronnie, really really well done! Have some green(s)!
Think Allen may have asked the help of a loyal leprechaun to jinx that green? Or the maxi prize was said leprechaun's pot of gold, to be guarded at all costs?
Will he still watch Saturday Kitchen with the same enthusiasm for his greens?
He was awesome,...Soooo close to the 147..damn green..
It was nail biting stuff i tells ya... Loved it...
I can't say "lucky you" cos he missed both attempts But it was still soooo exciting to watch & that red Ron took on & went all the way around the table to land perfectly on the black was "OMG... : DROOLS :!!!"
It's so pleasing to see that both missed attempts didn't affect his concentration & even more pleasing that he admitted he was pleased with his performance:snooker:

Robbo's potting is so good he doesn't need to bother with positional play like the rest of the players. He laughs in the face of those who spend hours on the practice table perfecting their cue ball control! ~ Forman 2009 Grand Prix Fantasy Game winner
