A really tremendous performance from O'Sullivan. One of his best for quite a while. Allen really needed to play perfect snooker to have a chance today, but you can't really ask that of players. What a great SF match awaits us tomorrow.

And what a great character Mark Allen is. I didn't like him at first, but he's growing on me recently. I don't think he'll be too disappointed today. Needs to get himself up for April now.

Good win for Higgins, although he did let it slip a bit towards the end. Is it going to be Higgins or O'Sullivan in the final? Statistics say Higgins, form says O'Sullivan.

What a difference a day makes! Yesterday Ronnie whitewashed a practically non-existent Cope and my feeling was he didn't really play well. Today he was focused, careful and in the mood to play to win.
Such a shame, that green, after those tremendous pots. Hats off to Allen for aplaudding the attempt.
And what a delightful match, with two in-form players, wanting to put up a good performance.
Great to see them have a chat and the white towel thing was both endearing and funny. 2005 Masters final memories, anyone?
