              Why no opera?

              Nessun Dorma would be perfect.

Who did you have in mind as the singer?

Oh, I didn't even consider a "local" choice.

Not exactly my (or his) cup of tea, but fair enough.

If there's a player opera is accessible to, it would be Drago. But it would seem odd that it isn't himself singing with the passion of the tenor as he walks into the arena

Marvin Hamlisch - The Entertainer. The name of the song matches Tony's style and it has been heard in snooker clips on the BBC.

If you replace 'sleep' by 'blink'
However, if it's opera, I'd rather vote for Ritorna vincitor....
